Fortune House Seafood
I’m not sure why the ratings for Fortune House Seafood are so low on Urban Spoon. The prices may be a little expensive, but you do get what you pay for and it’s always busy. If you’re smart, avoid the lineups and go early.
If it’s after 10:30am, you can order their special menu items including the stuffed eggplant, tofu, and peppers. This is a really nice dish.
I had a craving for sticky rice. While these may look small, they are filling.
The bean curd sheets wrapped around a pork and veggie filling are good too.
We usually also get the steamed beef rice rolls whenever we go for dim sum.
You have to get some kind of dumpling when you go for dim sum so we chose the shrimp and pea tip leaves. The filling was plentiful and the wrapping wasn’t too thick.
We decided to try something different this time and ordered the minced fish balls… they weren’t bad but I think next time, we’ll stick with the beef balls.
Hey, did you know that you can order lobster at dim sum? Take a look at a recent trip to Fortune House Seafood where we had Lobster at Dim Sum.
