Cactus Club (West Vancouver)
One of the items that I’ve always meant to try at Cactus Club was their Broccoli Cheese Soup but I was worried that it would be too cheesy (this coming from someone who really likes cheese, lol). You see, I figured it would be a really cheesy soup with broccoli in it.
We were delightfully surprised that it’s more of a cream of broccoli soup with a nice baked cheesy crust on top. The cheese reminded me of the top layer of cheese you find on a baked lasagne… it was the perfect amount of ooey gooey goodness.
Underneath the cheesy crust was a divinely creamy broccoli soup.
One of our standby appetizers at Cactus Club is their Thai Chicken Wings. They didn’t seem to be as saucy as I remember but they were still tasty.
One of the things I like about Cactus Club is that their food is always plated so nicely. Their Jambalaya Rice Bowl comes with a choice of brown or white rice with chicken, shrimp, sausage, bacon, veggies, spicy tomato sauce, black bean salsa, and creme fraiche.
