Thai Express (Coquitlam Centre)
Thai Express recently opened an outlet in Coquitlam Centre (wish they would open one up in Metrotown). One of the draws to Thai Express is that they cook your food (albeit from prepared ingredients) right in front of you using their flamethrower-fueled woks.
The dishes at Thai Express are generously portioned and will satisfy almost anyone’s hunger. Their Pad Thai is made with thin rice noodles, egg, tofu, bean sprouts, green onions, and your choice of protein. Since they prepare it fresh for you, you can have the level of spiciness adjusted to your tastes.
For an extra $2.50, we made our meal a combo and added a crispy vegetarian spring roll and drink.
The General Green Curry comes with fried, battered chicken, red, green, and yellow peppers, onions, eggplant and Thai basil on rice.
They have a number of outlets around the Lower Mainland… check out our posts on Thai Express – Park Royal and Thai Express – Richmond Centre.
