Cupcakes (Thurlow) - Nutella Cupcake

I’ve never actually watched The Cupcake Girls on tv so I can’t say if the show is any good but, despite the rather poor ratings on Urbanspoon, I actually liked the cupcakes that we got from here.

The Lemon Drop Cupcake is topped with lemon buttercream and lemon wedge candy.

I really liked the lemon cupcake but the Nutella Cupcake was even better… nutella + cupcake… what could be better?

I think a lot of people feel the buttercream frosting is too sweet but I didn’t find it that way (it’s frosting – what were you expecting?).  Plus, the cupcake itself was quite moist.
