Vera’s Burger Shack Express
With all of the recent scares of tainted meat in the news lately, it’s hard to believe that I’m still eating burgers at all. Well, I suppose there’s a difference between eating frozen burger patties and burgers that are made fresh to order… like the ones at Vera’s Burger Shack.
Right next to the Teppan Kitchen in Aberdeen Centre is a Vera’s Burger Shack Express. This is probably the most Westernized food stall in this mall so I’m not sure how well they will do… from what I recall, the previous tenant was a White Spot Triple O’s but it wasn’t around for very long.
I’ve actually never eaten at Vera’s before but I was quite impressed with the Vera’s Burger with Cheese… the beef patty was packed with meaty flavour.
Our combo also came with a very large portion of double-fried fries and a strawberry milkshake. The fries were pretty addictive but they were mostly short pieces (I’m guessing they must use some fairly small potatoes or we wound up with the left-over pieces).
