A visit to Las Vegas wouldn’t be complete without trying out one of the buffets. Don’t let the pricetag dissuade you, compared to many of the high-end restaurants on The Strip, casino buffets tend to be a bargain… especially when you consider what you get for your buck.

There really is nothing like a Vegas casino buffet but what do you do when you simply don’t have the time (or money) to make it to Sin City? Fortunately, Tulalip is a pretty close drive from Vancouver and they happen to have a buffet in their casino. It’s probably been a decade since the last time I’ve been to the Salmon House on the Hill. From what I recall, it was pretty good… today, however, was a little less than pleasing. Tucked away in the the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown (which is a little misleading since it’s actually located at The Crystal Mall in Burnaby) lies a little unassuming restaurant. If you’re never been here before, you couldn’t be blamed for passing it by or missing it completely.
