Bourbon St. Grill – Chinese Cajun

I’ve never been to “New Awlins” before so I’m not sure if the food served at Bourbon St. Grill is representative of their cuisine.  I’m guessing that there are aspects to this food court stall in Richmond Centre that probably relate but it’s like comparing the food at Manchu Wok to Chinese food.

Chewies Steam & Oyster Bar – Southern Fried Goodness

What do you get when you cross Rodney’s Oyster House and Ouisi Bistro?  A casual spot where you can pick up some great raw oysters on the half shell along with southern comfort food. 

Ouisi Bistro – Cornbread and Gumbo

Ouisi Bistro’s been on my wishlist of restaurants to try for a couple of years but we never find ourselves out in that area… until just recently on a rare sunny Friday in November.  I was a bit surprised to see the restaurant was rather dead (not usually a good sign) but at least we had the pick of the tables and sat closer to the window to allow for more natural light.
