It’s no secret that if you’re a chocoholic in Vegas, there are plenty of spots where you can satisfy your sweet tooth.  Caesars Palace has a chocolate shop that first introduced me to the wonders of chocolate covered bacon… Vosges.

Max Brenner – Chocolate by the Bald Man is located in the Forum Shops in Caesars Palace (they also have a few locations scattered worldwide.  For Max Brenner, chocolate isn’t just about a sweet treat… it’s about immersing yourself into a new way of thinking… one where chocolate is just as important to life as air and water and is just as much about the emotions it invokes as it is about how good it tastes.  I’m sure for some of you, that’s not much of a stretch.

Thomas Haas Fine Chocolates & Patisserie (Kitsilano)

It’s no wonder the staff at Thomas Haas wear Powered by Chocolates t-shirts… their confections are that good!  While they also serve savory items, the real reason you go to Thomas Haas is for the sweets…

Godiva Chocolatier (Metrotown)

Okay, I know this isn’t really a restaurant but they do serve shakes now (strawberry chocolate, mint chocolate chip, dark chocolate raspberry, dark banana, dark chocolate decadence, milk chocolate caramel, and milk chocolate decadence) at some locations… and really, isn’t chocolate one of the 4 major food groups?
