L’Epicerie Rotisserie & Gourmet Shop

Inside the Granville Island Public Market is a shop that serves roast meats, sandwiches, and carries specialty infused olive oils and vinegars on tap.  I’ve admired some of their hot savory foods before but have never tried them out.  Since we had just had a seafood fest at the Sandbar, I just grabbed some sweets to bring home.

Tealips is located behind Highgate Mall in Burnaby and serves up some of my fav foods… bubble tea – check, waffles – check, sandwiches – check.

Chewies Steam & Oyster Bar – Southern Fried Goodness

What do you get when you cross Rodney’s Oyster House and Ouisi Bistro?  A casual spot where you can pick up some great raw oysters on the half shell along with southern comfort food. 

Patisserie Lebeau – Waffles… breakfast of champions

Recently, we decided to inaugurate some friends in the wonderful world of waffles.  What better place than Patisserie Lebeau?  Being the weekend, we made sure we went early and managed to find a table before the lineups started queuing out the door.

They really should consider more seating inside – or at least, consider getting some patio seating outside to accomodate all of the customers.

Just a follow up to our earlier post of Patisserie Lebeau… as I mentioned, if you don’t live near Fairview, you don’t have to deprive yourself of their wickedly awesome waffles.  They sell individually wrapped waffles that are frozen and ready-to-eat at a number of locations (including their W 2nd location).

Ever since reading Eating in Vancouver’s post on the waffles at Patisserie Lebeau, I’ve been dying to try it out.  The problem is that they’re not open on Sundays (or Mondays for that matter) and it’s a bit out of the way for us.
