Lee’s Donuts

It’s been said many times before… if the only donuts that you’ve ever had were from Timmy Ho’s or Krispy Kreme… you’ve never truly had a good donut.  If you live in the Lower Mainland and you want a great donut, you have to stop by Lee’s Donuts down in Granville Island.

They have a big selection of sugar-coated filled donuts as well as regular cake donuts and specialty donuts.

If you get the French (cruller) donut, make sure you eat it right away because it tastes so much better when it’s fresh.

Along with the French and the regular chocolate donut, we also got the chocolate bavarian creme filled donut, the jelly filled donut, the mango filled donut and the apple filled donut.  I think the mango and jelly filled ones were my favourite.

The good thing about Lee’s being in Granville Island is that there’s plenty of things to see as you walk off the calories from your purchase.  If you’re in the mood for great waffles, head over to Patisserie Lebeau on West 2nd.

  1. Crispy Lechon

The good thing about Lee’s Donuts is …. its far away from Richmond where I live. Otherwise I will be having donuts everyday. LOL My favorite is also the mango filled and the plain sugar and honey glazed ones.

    • I know… while we were walking past all of the stalls in the market, I couldn’t help but wonder how people who live down in this area can even fit through their doors, lol! I’d be having a different yummy breakfast, 2nd breakfast, elevenies, brunch, etc… every day!
