Patisserie Lebeau – Waffles… breakfast of champions

Recently, we decided to inaugurate some friends in the wonderful world of waffles.  What better place than Patisserie Lebeau?  Being the weekend, we made sure we went early and managed to find a table before the lineups started queuing out the door.

They really should consider more seating inside – or at least, consider getting some patio seating outside to accomodate all of the customers.

Anyhoo, I decided to get the Ham and Cheese savory waffle.  I’ve bought some of the frozen liege waffles before but I wish they sold these savory stuffed waffles so I could have them any day of the week.

We also got the Fresh Fruit Brussels Waffle with custard and whipping cream.  This is always an impressive dish as they always have a lot of fresh fruit.

I have to admit, though, that our first trip to Patisserie Lebeau had a better selection of fresh fruit (check out the post here: Patisserie Lebeau).

If you want to see what you can do with their frozen waffles at home, look at our Patisserie Lebeau @ Home post.
