Curry Express (Metrotown)
Curry Express is exactly what the name implies… you get quick curry items when you need it the most. The problem is that the food isn’t the most authentic that it can be. Still, when every other stall is serving burgers or sweet and sour pork, it’s a nice change having other ethnic choices at the mall.
Their special combo comes with 2 items along with rice and naan. The rice was quite dry and clumpy but, fortunately, the butter chicken and veggie curry were saucy enough to compensate. Plus, the large, soft naan is perfect for sopping up all of the sauces.
It’s not much to look at and it doesn’t taste as good as Saffron, Ashiana, or Maurya, but it’s not bad for mall food if you’re in the mood for something different.
