House of Taste – Shawarmas in City Square
I used to always avoid the food court in City Square – it always seemed to be a little lacking. However, on one of our latest trips out to City Square, we were getting a bit hungry and didn’t feel like going to Kirin so we decided to check out the food court and noticed a relatively new outlet serving up Shawarmas.
The combos at House of Taste are pretty reasonable at $6 – we wound up getting the foot long Chicken Shawarma.
In addition to the chicken on a whole wheat pita, it comes with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, green peppers, red onions, pickles, and tabouleh. Side note: never try to unwrap a shawarma after it’s already been wrapped.
I really liked the crunchy veggies. Plus, they also have some pretty good tart lemonade.
