Re-Up BBQ (New West) – Pulled Pork at the Westminster Quay

As I mentioned on my last post on the Paddlewheeler Neighbourhood Pub, we were feeling a little hungry after we left so we decided to grab a bite at the Quay.  The Westminster Quay used to be somewhere we liked to visit because of all of the little shops.  Unfortunately, a lot of shops have closed down over the years… but it seems like there’s some renewal going on at the Quay and maybe things will pick back up.

The Re-Up BBQ location at the Quay is an actual food stall unlike the food truck in downtown Vancouver.

The Pulled Pork sandwiches here are $6.25 while the Beef Brisket sandwiches are $9.00.  Apparently, they make their own Southern Sweet Tea out of orange pekoe, lemon, and sugar – quite good on a hot day.

I thought that the pulled pork was a bit drier than it should have been.  I think the best pulled pork I’ve had was at The Red Wagon.
