Vosges Haut-Chocolat (Las Vegas – Caesars Palace)
It’s no secret that if you’re a chocoholic in Vegas, there are plenty of spots where you can satisfy your sweet tooth. Caesars Palace has a chocolate shop that first introduced me to the wonders of chocolate covered bacon… Vosges.
Mo’s Milk Bar is comprised of 45% deep milk chocolate with hickory smoked uncured bacon and alderwood smoked salt. This chocolate bar is more about the luxuriousness of the chocolate and the amount of bacon inside the bar might be a bit disappointing to some bacon lovers.
The Organic Peanut Butter Bonbons are sprinkled with Fleur de Sel salt and has pink Himalayan salt infused into the peanut butter and milk chocolate filling.
The Blood Orange Caramel Bar has a slight bittersweet taste owing to the velvety blood orange caramel and is offset by a tinge of tartness from the hibiscus flowers.
You can actually find some of Vosges chocolates at the Gourmet Warehouse on East Hastings in Vancouver if you need a quick fix.
