Lee’s Donuts

After visiting Whet.Kitchen.Bar.Patio last year, we stopped by Lee’s Donuts in the Public Market.  Lee’s has been in Granville Island for years… before all of the new donut shops started opening up around town.

Lee’s is especially known for their light and airy, sugar-coated donuts stuffed with various fillings such as Lemon, Mango, Jelly, and Chocolate.  We also grabbed a couple of denser cake-type donuts… the Honeydew and Marble.

I would really like to try one of their gigantic apple fritters one day  (it’s about the size of all 6 donuts above put together).

Don’t forget that March is Nutrition Month so make sure you pick up a healthy donut and stay tuned for our next post on Lucky’s Doughnuts.
