Mambo Cafe – Baked Seafood Rice
Mambo Cafe is one of the more popular stalls in the Aberdeen food court with what seems like constant lineups. I’m always surprised that there are so many people that come here just to order HK style thick toast.
In any case, I picked my usual order from here… Baked Seafood Rice ($7.95) that came with shrimp, mussel, imitation crab stick, squid, scallops and a white cream sauce with melted cheese. This is a pretty daunting meal for one person as the cream sauce mixed with the rice practically transforms it into a brick in your stomach as soon as you put it in your mouth.
Don’t be surprised to wait 10-15 minutes for your meal here.
