Hatley Gelato Scoops (Whistler 2013) – Lucia Gelato

Hatley Gelato Scoops (despite the address) is located on the Village Stroll just past the Village Gate Blvd overpass.  When we last visited Whistler, this store seemed to be more of a clothing/gift shop.  They still sell their signature Hatley character wear but they also serve Lucia Gelato.

Lucia Gelato is made in Whistler and can be found in 500ml tubs at retail locations all along the Sea to Sky Highway.  They also supply gelato to various restaurants around Whistler and have their own cart that you can find around the village during the summer.

We picked up the Mint Choco Chip Gelato and the Raspberry Lychee Sorbetto.

Unlike most places that add a touch of food colouring to give it a green colour, this mint gelato here comes in it’s natural white hue.  I didn’t really taste much lychee in the sorbetto – it had more of a raspberry flavour to it.
