Adria Gelato – Gelato and Donairs?
Adria Gelato is located on the 2nd floor of Highgate in Burnaby. Oddly enough, they also serve donairs (I suppose it would be even stranger if they served a “donair gelato”).
We stopped by here after our dinner at Nao Sushi across the block but we didn’t wind up ordering any donairs and just got a watermelon and lime gelato. Both were quite good with a refreshing and light flavour.
I wonder if the added competition from the new Menchie’s will be a problem for them since Menchie’s is visible from passing traffic (street-level on Kingsway) and Adria is kind of hidden on the 2nd floor.
