Days Thai

Days Thai is located is a small mini mall on the corner of Edmonds and Canada Way.  Because of the busy intersection, the parking lot is usually full from all the people frequenting the 7-11.  Fortunately, there is some nearby parking along Edmonds.

The interior of this restaurant had plenty of seating on my visit but it wasn’t much to write home about.  If you’re only here for a quick lunch however, you’ll be glad to know that the food comes out fast.

I wound up ordering the Green Curry Chicken lunch special ($7.95) which came with a freshly fried spring roll that was lightly packed.  The bowl of curry was colourful with green, yellow, red peppers, eggplant, and thai basil.  Aside from the eggplant being a bit stringy, this dish was better than I expected given the digs.

As far as heat level, it came out with a medium level of spiciness.  I just wish the rice wasn’t so stiff.  It was a good thing that I had plenty of curry sauce to soften the rice with.

I think Days Thai is pretty much on par with neaerby Lhy Thai and iThai (both on Edmonds).
