Applebee’s (Oswego Lake) – Bourbon Street Steak
After our long trip down the Oregon Coast, we finally made it to Oswego Lake (a short jaunt from Portland). We were kind of tired and just looking for some simple late night eats and wound up at Applebee’s.
They had a special running during our visit… $25 for the Bourbon Street Steak and the Napa Chicken and Portobello along with two side salads.
The grilled chicken breast was topped with portobello mushrooms and onions smothered in a red wine sauce and parmesan cheese and then served over sautéed zucchini, mushrooms, roasted red peppers, red onions and red potatoes.
The cajun-spiced steak was served with sautéed onions & mushrooms and fried red potatoes… really enjoyed the onions on this dish.
The food here was pretty good and the portion sizes were generous. Our server was also friendly and checked in on us during our meal. I’m not sure why the Applebee’s up in BC couldn’t make a go of it.

We in Portland know it as The city of Lake Oswego!:) this food looks delicious!
Portland (and Lake Oswego) seems to have lots of good places to eat. We need to make sure we come back some time and try some other places.
