Subway (Willingdon and Lougheed) – Eat Fresh

So, I found myself around the Brentwood area early one Saturday morning looking for a place to grab a quick bite. Subway wasn’t my first choice, but with all of the construction going on, I didn’t have a lot of choices.

I decided to try one of their breakfast items… the Sunrise Subway Melt ($4.99) with turkey, ham, bacon, egg, and cheese on a 6 inch flatbread. While they toast the flatbread, it was still soft in the middle and resembled a pita bread. It is a good thing that you can add all of the veggies that you want because the sandwich would have been very sad without them. The meat filling was rather sparse and bland on their own.

Don’t get me wrong… I usually like Subway. But their breakfast items could use a revamp.
