Camellia Tea & Coffee
Camellia Tea & Coffee is located next to Ki Tea House Cafe on Royal Oak in Burnaby. It’s amazing that, on this one little block, there’s two pretty good coffee/tea places.
They have a pretty large location with concrete floors and exposed duct work on the ceiling.
I started out my meal with a Passion Herb Soda ($4.95 20 oz) which was a very refreshing drink. I paired that with a Tuna Croissant ($5.95) that was grilled and contained tuna, egg slices, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and onions. This isn’t a dainty finger sandwich and it satisfied my hunger craving with a nice flaky exterior to boot.
I followed this up with the Chocolate Hazelnut Cake ($4.95) which was super creamy and comprised of many delicate layers.
While they have a sign posted that says to pick up your food order when your number is called, the friendly female working the counter brought my order out for me. Seems like a nice spot to hang out.
