Olive Garden (Langley)
“Breadsticks!” That one word is sure to evoke both fear in those avoiding carbs and lust in those of us who still give in to our primal urge for crusty, and pillowy batons of baked goodness.
For many of us, the one restaurant that we think of when we hear “breadsticks” is Olive Garden. Endless breadsticks paired with a bottomless salad… you’ve got a meal right there even before you get started with your entrée.
To wash down our meal, we picked up the Strawberry Passion Fruit Limonata ($3.99) and the Kiwi Melon Limonata ($3.99)… both pretty refreshing for a hot day.
If all of the items on the menu is overwhelming, you can always order the Tour of Italy ($23.99) which includes chicken parmigiana, lasagna classico and fettuccine alfredo. The parmigiana was really good as the chicken had a perfect crisp to the exterior.
I picked the Shrimp and Chicken Carbonara ($23.49) which included a healthy amount of sautéed shrimp and breaded chicken in a creamy bacon and roasted red pepper sauce. This was a really good dish despite being quite filling.
Check out our last visit here.
