The Cheesecake Factory (Waikiki 2015) – Macaroni and Cheese Burger
There are 3 things to remember about The Cheesecake Factory:
1) The lineup can be massive here. Sure, there are tons of restaurants that you can visit in Waikiki, but The Cheesecake Factory always seems to be busy.
2) They have a very intensive menu… I’m talking pages and pages. It can make picking your meal very difficult.
3) When they bring out the complimentary bread basket, ask them for more of the brown honey oat bread… trust me… it’s so good.
While I wasn’t extremely hungry during our visit (with all of the other great food we were having in Waikiki), I knew I had to try the Macaroni and Cheese Burger. I love mac ‘n cheese, so when you top off a charbroiled beef patty with a creamy fried macaroni and cheese ball, cheddar cheese sauce, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onions… I was a very happy camper indeed.
You can’t tell in the picture below, but this burger was super tall when I piled everything on top of the burger. I had to seriously squish it down to even come close to fitting in my mouth. When you do that, the cheese oozes out the sides… so decadent and sexy.
This was a really great burger. They don’t ignore the hamburger patty either… it had a nice char on the outside and was juicy on the inside. Loved how the creamy cheese just coated each bite.
