Le Tigre Cuisine – Food Truck
After finishing our rather too subtle meal at Shishinori, we noticed that the Le Tigre food truck was parked right in front of the Wholefoods on Cambie.
Since there wasn’t a line up, we figured that this must have been a sign and decided to try that “FRICKEN” chicken ($8).
They actually pack in quite a bit of chicken (about 6 pieces I think) in the little take-away container. The aroma from the marinated fried chicken was quite intoxicating. They certainly live up to their name… this chicken was seriously fricken good. The chicken was super crunchy on the outside but moist on the inside and the flavours of the chilies, garlic, and shallots mixed together very well.
If you ever find yourself in front of Le Tigre’s food truck, order the FRICKEN chicken… don’t even bother to think about it.
