Chronic Tacos (Metrotown)
Chronic Tacos recently opened up a new location in the Metrotown food court (in the former Taco Time location).
There must have been a big craving for tacos during my visit because there was quite a lineup at the counter.
For our Tostada Bowl, we picked the battered and fried fish. They fry the fish to order so it takes a little longer to prep. After that, you just tell them how you want your bowl customized with toppings. The shell isn’t as good as the one at Taco Luis, but it’s passable.
The Chicken Taco was overflowing… luckily, they give you two tortillas so you can split the filling between the two.
The food here is similar to what you’d find at Chipotle, which also recently opened up a location at Metrotown.
