Anton’s Pasta Bar – Conchiglie Alla Cosentina
She sells seashells by the seashore. The only reason why I bring up this tongue-twister is that I wound up ordering the Conchiglie Alla Cosentina at Anton’s Pasta Bar back in early March.
Conchiglie is a type of shell pasta and quite ingenious since the shape naturally allows the sauce to adhere to the pasta. Speaking of sauce, the pasta was served with a parmesan sauce made with chicken broth and mixed with leeks, carrots, celery, peas, and Italian pancetta.
As I’ve mentioned before, I’m not one to wait in long lines for Anton’s… but there was no lineup when we arrived. If you’re looking for huge plates of pasta, you can’t go wrong here.
