McDonald’s – The Super Terrific Happy Big Breakfast McMuffin
The McDonald’s located at Still Creek in Burnaby has been around as long as I can remember.
Although the location seems small on the lower floor, the upstairs dining area is quite expansive.
Having a little too much time on my hand while waiting for my car to be serviced nearby, I figured it was about time that I updated my instructions on creating… The Super Terrific Happy Big Breakfast McMuffin!!!
It starts out pretty easy with the simple purchase of a Big Breakfast. Now you could just eat this the regular way like everyone else… but why not be a bit different?
Okay, the first step is to spread the jam on the english muffins. I used to love getting grape jam but it seems like they only offer strawberry nowadays. You could also do this with peanut butter or a mix of peanut butter and jam if you’re feeling extra festive.
Next comes some preliminary assembly. Sprinkle some pepper onto the scrambled eggs… this gives it a bit of texture/grip to bind with the other components. Then start stacking… place the sausage on top of one of the english muffin pieces.
Next, spread some ketchup onto the hashbrowns. Again, this helps to bind it with the rest of the parts. Then stack the eggs on the sausage and follow that with the ketchup-ladened hashbrowns.
Then simply top it off with the last english muffin and you have your fabulous Super Terrific Happy Big Breakfast McMuffin!
If you’ve ever shopped at Ikea, you’ll know that you’ll usually wind up with a few extra pieces after you’re done. Don’t worry about that… if you eat them, no one will know. You might have to unhinge your jaw to fit this monster in your mouth but it will be well worth the effort.
