Coco Cove (Hawaii 2017): Island Ahi and Avocado Poke

After our snack at Shaka Poke, we headed out to do some shopping in Waikiki and wound up picking up some more poke to bring back to our hotel… this time at Coco Cove. I know that most of their poke is made from previously frozen seafood – but you can’t really beat the selection that they have available and it’s located right in the heart of Waikiki so it’s way more convenient than heading out to Ono Seafood.

We picked up 1/2 lb each of the Island Ahi ($17.99/lb) and Avocado ($13.99/lb). The Island Ahi is a classic with sesame oil while the Avocado was a creamy concoction with imitation crab meat and tobiko.

The poke here is pretty solid and they usually wind up selling out before the end of the day.
