Tangram Creamery: Frozen S’mores
This past August, we came across Tangram Creamery who had a food stall located at the Powell Street Festival. I’ve heard of their shop located on Arbutus Street in the west side of Vancouver but we’re hardly ever in that area so we were fortunate to come across their tent.
On this blisteringly hot summer day, their Frozen S’mores ($9) looked very appealing… seared marshmallow wrapped around graham cracker, chocolate, and a thick vanilla ice cream sandwich. Seriously… how can you say no to this?
To be fair, it is a bit difficult to eat this delicious and ooey-gooey dessert on a stick. Needless to say, my lips were covered in a coating of marshmallow by the time I finished it (but it was worth it). I’m not sure if this is available all the time in their shop – but if it isn’t, they should make it a staple.
As I’ve said on many occasions, my posts tend to be late. As of October, they’ve posted that changes are on the way… where the same owner (50% owner) will be operating the same nature of business at same location, just changing trade name. But “Tangram Creamery” legacy will continue at a different location, maybe in a different form.
