Marble Slab Creamery (Market Crossing): National Ice Cream Sandwich Day

When you’re in peak summer mode, you really don’t need a reason to enjoy some cold and delicious ice cream. Still, it feels a little less guilty when there’s a good excuse… and what could be a better excuse than it being “National Ice Cream Sandwich Day”?

How about getting a FREE ice cream sandwich? Yup, BCAA members (this is not a sponsored ad) have enjoyed free ice cream sandwiches at participating Marble Slab Creamery locations on National Ice Cream Sandwich Day for a number of years now.

In some prior years, the sandwiches were all pre-packaged and ready-to-go when you show up. On this past occasion (Aug 2nd, 2019), they actually made my ice cream sandwich to-order (I picked mint ice cream sandwiched between two chocolate chip cookies).

Yes, I know this post is a bit late… almost 3 months I think. But with summer in the rear-view mirror, I find myself longing for warm summer days and ice cream sandwiches.
