Neverland Tea Salon: A Grande Adventure High Tea
You know that feeling when you want to be fancy-af? Well, there’s nothing like having Afternoon Tea to get your pinkies out. Neverland Tea Salon is one of the many places around town where you can get Afternoon Tea (but you don’t have to worry about dressing up here).
Their Grande Adventure High Tea ($38 pp) gives you a never-ending selection of teas. This is nice because you can try out different types of teas. In reality, of course, I can only ever try up to 2 pots of tea otherwise I get too full.
In addition to your tea, you get a selection of both savory and sweets (they have a couple of different dietary options available). The traditional version that we had on our visit included the following savory items:
The middle layer of sweet items included:
And the top tier consisted of:
Afternoon Tea/High Tea might sound a bit dainty but don’t underestimate how filling it can be. Pro tip: Don’t just eat all of the savory items and eat the sweet items last… You’ll most likely find that it’s too much of a sweet overload at the end of your meal. Instead, mix things up and eat a little savory, a little sweet, and then repeat. This will even out your sugar intake and make things more enjoyable.
