Lobster Me – The Venetian (Las Vegas 2019): Lobster Bisque and Guava Bundaberg

Another one of our previous haunts from days gone by is Lobster Me. We first came upon the one in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood years ago but noticed that they’ve opened up a location at The Venetian so we stopped here for a quick bite after some shopping.

We wound up ordering a Connecticut Lobster Roll ($24) and a bottle of Guava Bundaberg. Let me tell you that this drink was really good (gonna have to see if I can find it in Vancouver). We picked the Connecticut version because they said it was served warm (unlike their Maine version) and supposedly comes with 1/4lb lobster with butter and seasoning.

We also ordered their Lobster Bisque ($8) which I’ve got to say was the best part of the meal. I found that our lobster roll wasn’t warm at all (I think they took too long to get the lobster roll to our table as they seemed a bit busy and not really on top of things).

I have fond memories of trying the lobsticle at Lobster Me… maybe I should have ordered that instead.

  1. The Gourmet Warehouse on East Hastings sells Bundaberg drinks. I think I’ve seen the guava flavour there.
