Old Street: Chinese Crepes and Beef Noodle Soup

Old Street is a relatively new Chinese eatery which opened up in the former Tokyo Tonkotsu Ramen location on Kingsway and specializes in street food items such as Chinese crepes and Taiwanese beef noodle soups. It looks like they haven’t done too much in terms of interior renovations other than to add the large mural on the wall which explains the type of food that they serve as well as the signage behind the counter.

Chef Hung Taiwanese Beef Noodle (Aberdeen)

Aberdeen Centre has some really good eats. If it weren’t for all of the crazy people in the parking lot, we’d probably be here more often. On one visit, we decided to try a Chef Hung Taiwanese Beef Noodle.

Gala Cafe – Inexplicable Service

Gala Cafe is located next to the similar Pearl Castle Cafe in the Old Orchard Shopping Centre in Burnaby. In fact, it’s close enough that you can connect to the free Wi-Fi from next door.
