Coconut Kenny’s (Bellingham): Cheese Balls, Pan Pizza, and Cheesesteaks

So, how have we never stopped by Coconut Kenny’s during one of our previous sorties down to the States? This chain of Hawaiian-inspired pizza joints just came up on our radar recently so we decided to stop by after visiting Trader Joe’s in Bellingham.

Thai Go & Noodle (Bellis Fair Mall)

Thai Go & Noodle is a newish food stall that opened up in Bellis Fair Mall. We don’t always stop by the Bellis Fair food court but we needed some quick nourishment while in the area and it looked like they did some renos to the food court recently.

Rocket Donuts (Bellingham) – Out of this World

So, who knew there was a downtown Bellingham? Well, I guess the people that live there I suppose. But as a visiting Canadian, my knowledge of Bellingham was generally limited to Bellis Fair Mall and the pit stop when heading further south down the I-5.

Ivar’s Seafood Bar (Bellis Fair)

No trip to Bellis Fair would be complete without the requisite visit to Ivar’s Seafood Bar.  Ivar’s is a staple in the Pacific Northwest… just wish they would move up North a little more.

Burger King (Telegraph Road)

With the Canadian dollar worth more than the US dollar lately, the border lineups to the states have been crazy.  On a previous weekend, we were determined to make it down for some shopping but we didn’t want to spend an hour waiting at Peace Arch so we headed out early… and it worked.  We made it through the border in less than 1/2 hour.
