Sushico Japanese Restaurant: Friendly Service and Quality Food in Langley

I don’t find myself out in Langley very often… and don’t even get me started on the City of Langley vs the Township of Langley. But we found ourselves in the area one weekend while shopping at one of the large garden centres and we needed to grab a bite to eat.

Roy’s Waikiki: Classic Pacific Rim Restaurant

We’ve always thought about trying Roy’s Waikiki in the past but timings just never worked out before. Roy’s is one of the many restaurants founded by Japanese-born Roy Yamaguchi (who has a long and storied history with cuisine in Hawaii).

Woomi Sushi: Unremarkable Eats

Okay, I’m going to do my best to give this place a fair review. After all, it seems unfair to compare the sushi from a shopping mall in New Westminster with the sushi that we had in Japan. So here goes… Woomi Sushi is located inside Royal Square Mall (next to IT Char Burger). I mention IT Char mainly because it is a gem of a find inside this mall and I had hoped Woomi Sushi would provide similar unexpected results.

Sansei Seafood (Seattle): Happy Hour

Sansei Seafood (and their sister restaurant DK Steakhouse) have been two of our favourite restaurants whenever we head over to Waikiki. As a matter of fact, we had just posted about our happy hour adventure at Sansei Seafood in Waikiki just recently. So when we heard that there was a Sansei in Seattle (just a hop, skip and a jump away from Vancouver), we knew that we wanted to try them out the next time we were in the area.
