Modo Hawaii (Hawaii 2018): Mochi Donuts!
Our first experience with mochi donuts was with a Mister Donut in Akihabara in Japan where we got to try their famous Pon De Ring. For those of you unfamiliar, mochi donuts are dangerously addictive given how easy it is to polish them off. So when I saw that they opened up Modo Hawaii inside the International Marketplace, I knew that we would stop by here during our next visit to Waikiki.

Earnest Ice Cream (Frances St): Seriously Good
It’s the dog days of summer in Vancouver and the one sure thing that you’re bound to see is lineups outside Earnest Ice Cream. That is, unless you check out their newest location in the Grandview area of Vancouver.
