Shanghai Dimsum House: Bayulan Steamed Mini Pork Buns

There’s so many reasons why I don’t dine in Crystal Mall… the first and foremost is the insane circular parking lot. Let’s not forget the food court which doesn’t have enough seating and the lack of air conditioning which makes you feel like you’re sitting in a blast furnace. Sunshine Cafe (Crystal Mall): Japanese-Style Beef Curry

Most of the time, when I head out for lunch, I’ve got an inkling of an idea where I’ll wind up… but I tend to have horrendous luck when it comes to trying new (to me) places. Xu’s Wonton House – Juicy Mini Pork Buns

I’ve heard many good things about the xiao long bao at Xu’s Wonton House in Crystal Mall but, I must admit, I was confused when I first visited and couldn’t find them on the menu.

Xiang Yuan Qiao Bridge Rice Noodle

Inside the dark and busy food court of Crystal Mall there lies Xiang Yuan Qiao Bridge Rice Noodle. The name is a bit confusing if you aren’t aware of the popular Yunnan dish, crossing-the-bridge noodles.
