Market by Jean-Georges opened 5 years ago in the ultra tall Shangri-La hotel in Vancouver as Vongerichten’s first foray into the Canadian market. Of course, Jean-Georges is no stranger to popular restaurants… and from our Dine Out visit, I know why his restaurants are so popular.
This year, Dine Out Vancouver coincided with Lobster Fest at the Boathouse restaurants. We’ve been to the New West location on many occasions (with mixed results). It does seem to be a popular choice because the restaurant was busy on the night we visited. Read the rest of this entry
The great thing about Dine Out Vancouver is trying out restaurants that you’ve never been to before. Last year we tried a great French bistro called Bistro Pastis on West 4th (see our 2013 Dine Out post here). This year, we decided to try Le Parisien, a French bistro in the West End owned by the same person as Bistro Pastis.
