Le Petit Belge: Amazing Salmon Benny on Waffles
I don’t make it downtown very often so, when I had the chance in mid-February, I popped by Le Petit Belge for an early morning breakfast. True to their name, this location is kind of small and I was glad that I went early as it quickly filled up in the morning. As you enter, you’ll come to the counter where you place and pay for your order before sitting down.

Bruncheria Cafe: Mixed Feelings
A little while ago, I heard about a newish restaurant in New Westminster called Bruncheria. A whole restaurant dedicated to brunch? I know, I know, it’s getting a lot more common around town… but I was still intrigued. Who wants to wait until the weekend until you can enjoy some great brunch grub?

Eggs ‘n Things Waikiki Beach Eggspress (Hawaii 2018): Breakfast with a View
I think I’ve forgotten how many times we’ve dined at Eggs ‘n Things over the years. From the moment we first tried their pancakes topped with a mountain of whipped cream, we’ve been hooked. That being said, we like trying new restaurants so we haven’t been making a point to revisit on each trip to Hawaii (although we did visit an Eggs ‘n Things when we went to Japan last year).

Heavenly (Waikiki 2015) – Island Lifestyle
They say that the island lifestyle changes you… and why shouldn’t it? Heavenly is a restaurant located in Waikiki about a block and a half from the major strip (Kalakaua Avenue) in the Shoreline Hotel.

Tivoli’s (Burnaby) – Trio of Eggs Benedict
There’s been many times when I would read a menu description and be totally surprised by what turns up on the table… sometimes for the good, sometimes for the worse. Read the rest of this entry
