James Street Cafe: East Meets West for Breakfast

James Street Cafe has always been a bit of a mystery to me. The restaurant doesn’t actually sit on James Street and seems far from a typical cafe. We visited early one February morning for breakfast… something that they are supposedly well known for.

Fraser Park Restaurant: Hearty German Breakfast and Lunch

Whenever I’m in the mood for a good, hearty breakfast, my mind wanders to Fraser Park Restaurant. This diner located in the middle of a semi-industrial area has been serving up tasty eats for years and you’re pretty much guaranteed to go away stuffed.

Hawksworth Restaurant – The English Breakfast

Hawksworth is a shiny restaurant located in the Rosewood Hotel Georgia, sitting across from the Vancouver Art Gallery.  And by “shiny” I mean the decor is filled with white marble tables, stainless steel, and coffered ceilings.  At first, I thought I was a little underdressed for this place but then I noticed that a lot of the other patrons were wearing just shorts and t-shirts – probably guests in the hotel I suppose.
