Olay’s Thai Food Express (Hawaii 2018): Honolulu Farmers’ Market

The original purpose of our visit to the Honolulu Farmers’ Market (located in front of Blaisdell Concert Hall) was to get some yummy butter mochi cupcakes from Mochi Lab. However, we knew that we’d be hungry for something more substantial. Fortunately, there’s a ton of food stands here… one of which is Olay’s Thai Food Express.

Finding Mochi Lab was a complete fluke. They’ve got a stall at the local Mahiku Farmers Market in the Hyatt Regency in Waikiki every Tuesday between 4-8pm.

Lulu’s Hawaiian Shave Ice (Steveston Farmers Market)

Nothing says summer more than shave ice.  If you’ve never been to Hawaii before, you’re probably wondering how this differs from a regular snow cone.  Unlike a snow cone which uses crushed ice, shave ice has much finer ice which absorbs the syrups better.

Sweet Thea @ the Royal City Farmers’ Market
