Angelina’s Dutch Corner: Good Food and Slow Service
It’s been a number of years since my last visit to Angelina’s Dutch Corner but they’ve recently moved into a new location at the River Market at the Quay. I’ve got to admit that I like their new digs… much more open, airy, and bright compared to their last location. The only bad thing here is that the noise inside the restaurant seems to echo and amplify making for a loud din.

Eggspectation (Richmond): Montreal-Based Breakfast Joint
I think I had high “eggspectations” when I first visited this new breakfast eatery that opened up in Richmond late last year. Originally hailing from Montreal, Eggspectation is located in the former Ihop location next to the Accent Inn. But trust me, when you walk inside, it looks nothing like an Ihop.

Lychee (Hawaii 2018): Breakfast Buffet
We were a bit hesitant to try the breakfast buffet at Lychee, a restaurant located on the 2nd floor of the Alohilani Resort, due to the price tag ($35) but quickly realized that most touristy restaurants inside hotels run around the same price range so we bit the bullet.
Toby’s Pub & Grill (North Van): Brunch in North Van
As the name would suggest, Toby’s Pub & Grill is a – wait for it – pub and grill joint with locations on Commercial Drive in Vancouver and Main Street in North Vancouver. In this post, I’ll be talking about the North Van location which we visited for brunch on a couple of occasions.

Goofy Cafe & Dine (Hawaii 2017): French Toast and Hawaiian Omelette
I’m always looking for new breakfast spots in Honolulu and one place that has been on my list for a couple of years has been Goofy Cafe & Dine on Ala Moana Blvd. Whenever we pass by this place, it always seems busy so that must be a good thing.

Hula Grill (Hawaii 2017): Breakfast at the Beach
Breakfast and Hawaii are two of my favourite things… put them together and I’m a very happy camper. Hula Grill is located in the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort, directly above their popular sister restaurant, Duke’s Waikiki.

Jam Café: Brunch
