After our lunch in White Rock, we stopped by Dolce Gelato for some ice cream because… well… it wouldn’t be a trip to White Rock without strolling down the pier with some ice cream.

When you’re walking around Steveston on a sunny day, it’s best to grab some ice cream to go. Timothy’s Frozen Yogurt is conveniently located on the pier and serves gelato, sorbetto, and frozen yogurt.

Amato Gelato Cafe (Mario’s Gelati)

Mario’s Gelati has been around for years… I mean… a really, really, long time. Even before my first visit back in the 80’s, Mario has been serving up the tastiest gelato at their Amato Gelato Cafe as well as supplying many restaurants with their ice cream.

If you didn’t know where to look for it, you’d probably have a tough time finding Omi Gelato on Granville Island.

Bella Gelateria consistently ranks as one of the top gelato shops in Vancouver… that’s saying a lot considering how many places serve up gelato here.

Adria Gelato – Gelato and Donairs?

Adria Gelato is located on the 2nd floor of Highgate in Burnaby.  Oddly enough, they also serve donairs (I suppose it would be even stranger if they served a “donair gelato”).

Hatley Gelato Scoops (Whistler 2013) – Lucia Gelato

Hatley Gelato Scoops (despite the address) is located on the Village Stroll just past the Village Gate Blvd overpass.  When we last visited Whistler, this store seemed to be more of a clothing/gift shop.  They still sell their signature Hatley character wear but they also serve Lucia Gelato.

Froshberg Gelato

Froshberg Gelato is a new mall-based franchise outlet serving up a variety of gelato flavours – their latest location being in Richmond Centre’s new Dining Terrace next to the other dessert-themed Pinkberry.
