To me, 2013 felt like a very long year so I was trying to use up some of my accumulated vacation with short 1-day staycations. On one of those days in late November, we decided to head out to Granville Island and paid a visit to one of our staples… Dockside Restaurant located in the Granville Island Hotel. Inside the Granville Island Public Market is a food court that always seems busy when we visit. Due to the limited seating, we usually don’t dine here and head to one of the nearby restaurants. But on our last visit, we noticed a Thai place in the food court called Thai Eleven.
Inside the Granville Island Public Market is a shop that serves roast meats, sandwiches, and carries specialty infused olive oils and vinegars on tap. I mean, sure, I like bagels but there are so many other things at Granville Island to grab your interest like nearby Lee’s Donuts. Read the rest of this entry
We were a bit disappointed recently when we stopped by Dockside Restaurant around 11am for lunch only to find out that their lunch menu didn’t start until 11:30am. Not really feeling in the mood for breakfast, we stayed for a quick bite and then headed down to The Sandbar afterwards for the lunch we were hoping for.
