Knight & Day (Lougheed) – How is this place so busy?

Ah, Knight & Day… the oft disparaged, late-night eats located at the corner of Boundary Road and Lougheed Hwy. I haven’t been here for over 20 years and, from what I recall, the food wasn’t that great.

Café Presse (Seattle) – Œufs Plats, Jambon, Fromage

Café Presse is a French bar/café located in the Capitol Hill area of Seattle. We came here for an early morning breakfast but didn’t realize that their Petit Dejeuner menu (served from 7am to 9am) doesn’t contain all of the items on their regular menu. It’s too bad because I would have really liked to have tried their croque madame. Read the rest of this entry

Prestons – Good Hot Chocolate, Poor Eggs

While I’ve heard about Prestons for a few years now, it was honestly not my initial choice for breakfast.  I was having another one of my usual dining snafus.  I had actually planned on visiting Chewies in Coal Harbour for breakfast because their website said that they were open.  Of course, when I arrived, they were closed.  So I whipped out my phone to look for nearby restaurants and stumbled upon Prestons.
