Mon Ami Gabi – Paris Hotel (Las Vegas): Outdoor Dining
Mon Ami Gabi is one of the more well-known restaurants located in Las Vegas. With the looming Eiffel Tower replica overhead of the outdoor patio, it’s not difficult to imagine that you’re in a street-side café in Paris (well, aside from the countless drove of tourists walking along the sidewalk). You’ve also got a view of the Bellagio fountains across the street (while the fountain show isn’t scheduled to start until 3pm during the weekday, you’ll occasionally get to see an impromptu display when they test the fountains – something that surprised us).

Sushi Street – Paris Hotel (Las Vegas): What’s in a Name?
It happens to us all the time… we make plans to try and eat somewhere and something goes wrong. Specifically, we were looking to grab some Japanese food while we were in Vegas and I had already scoped out a target that was located right in our hotel called Sekushi. The online menu and pictures all seemed good. The only problem is that we couldn’t find the darn place. We wandered around and around the casino and hotel area looking for Sekushi but couldn’t find it anywhere.

Café Ile St. Louis – Paris Hotel (Las Vegas): Outdoor Parisian Café Inside a Casino
Cafe Ile St. Louis is one of the dining establishments located inside the Paris Hotel in Vegas. It’s designed to look like a Parisian café complete with an “outdoor patio” with faux buildings. While the sounds from the surrounding casino area takes a bit away from the experience, it’s actually not that difficult to imagine that you’re actually dining in a Paris café.

Luke’s Lobster – Fashion Show Mall (Las Vegas 2019): Lobster Trio and Lobster Bisque
Did you know they have Luke’s Lobster in Japan? This post isn’t about their Japan location but I just thought I’d mention that because I remember seeing it when we visited Japan and I really wanted to try it out but I was already so full with trying all of the yummy Japanese food that I put it off thinking I would eventually find another Luke’s somewhere to try.

Eggslut – Cosmopolitan (Las Vegas 2019): The Fairfax and The Slut
Okay, so here it is… our post of Eggslut… the much ballyhooed purveyor of decadent egg-based dishes that’s graced the fickle screens of Instagram users. We originally tried to come here the prior day but we showed up a bit late and the lineup was crazy so we returned on another day to try again.

Julian Serrano Tapas – Aria (Las Vegas 2019): Paella!
A number of years ago when we stayed at the Aria, we stumbled across Julian Serrano and had an amazing paella dish with our friends. When we finally decided to return to Vegas, the one thing that we knew that we couldn’t miss out on was that paella (we pretty much planned our whole trip around it).

Lobster Me – The Venetian (Las Vegas 2019): Lobster Bisque and Guava Bundaberg
Another one of our previous haunts from days gone by is Lobster Me. We first came upon the one in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood years ago but noticed that they’ve opened up a location at The Venetian so we stopped here for a quick bite after some shopping.

Earl of Sandwich – Planet Hollywood (Las Vegas 2019): The Full Montagu
We initially thought of heading to Egg Slut for our first breakfast in Vegas but, after seeing the huge lineups, made a detour and stopped by one of our old haunts… Earl of Sandwich in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood.

Mon Ami Gabi (Las Vegas 2013) – Parisian Café in Vegas
Okay, so if you’re not up for a 10 hour flight to France, you can head down to Vegas to experience dining at a Parisian café. Read the rest of this entry
America Restaurant (Las Vegas 2013) – The Cronut
During our recent visit to Vegas, they were doing a bunch of renovations at the New York – New York Hotel so we almost didn’t go inside. Lucky for us we did because we accidentally stumbled across the America Restaurant which serves cronuts.
Spice Market Buffet (Las Vegas 2013)
We’re not as young as we used to be so we don’t spend as much time at buffets in Vegas anymore. Still, we felt like we needed to try at least one during our visit so we picked the Spice Market Buffet located under the Planet Hollywood casino.
