Pho 68 (don’t ask me where the other 67 are) recently opened up in South Burnaby.
Kim Anh: Return of Kim Anh on Edmonds
In early September, I noticed that Kim Anh had recently reopened on Edmonds Street in Burnaby. I found this to be a bit odd because I distinctly remember eating at this same restaurant in this same location a number of years ago. As it turns out, the owners of Kim Anh had subleased the location for a couple of years (to Aria Kabab) and had recently decided to reopen.

The Viet Noodle Guy: Modern Take on Classic Vietnamese
Everyone has their own favourite spot for pho. In the past, this usually meant some hole-in-the-wall noodle joint that’s seen better days. The Viet Noodle Guy kicks that trend and seems to be doing quite well at it.

Pho Century Fine Vietnamese Cuisine: Solid Viet Food in South Burnaby
Okay, it’s been about 7 years since I last visited Pho Century (geez, I feel old now). Located on the corner of Kingsway and Sperling (and next to Mr. Ho’s Wonton House), I had completely forgotten how the food was like here so I thought I should pay them a revisit.

Kim Phung: Nondescript Vietnamese Restaurant
Kim Phung is one of the many nondescript Vietnamese restaurants that dot the Vancouver food scene. Located on the busy Victoria Drive strip of Killarney, it’s quite easy to pass by this shop without noticing it.
