Créme de la Crumb Bakeshop (Clark Drive) – Mayan Hot Chocolate
Créme de la Crumb is a growing chain of bakery shops that serves up tasty pastries as well as deli items. The location on Clark Drive is nestled in the middle of a semi-industrial area and, aside from the dark counter area, actually seems pretty bright and spacious.

900 West Lounge – White Monkey Paw
Okay, so we’ve had one of the great DealFind coupons for Afternoon Tea at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver burning a hole in our pocket since last year. We originally visited last summer and were quite pleased… especially with the raisin scones (see our first visit).

While I’ve never been much of a pie-eater before (I’m more of a cake-person), I have to admit that my interest in pies peaked while watching Pushing Daisies a few years ago. Since we were in Granville Island picking up some bread at Terra Breads, we also decided to pick up a few scones at Laurelle’s Fine Foods. They serve a number of items here from sweet desserts to savory sausage rolls.

Secret Garden Tea Company – High Tea
Contrary to it’s name, the Secret Garden Tea Company is hardly a secret at all… in fact, it’s one of the more popular places for High Tea (or Afternoon Tea if you want to get technical). We made reservations for noon – and, as usual with our luck, they had some trouble finding our reservations.
